The Municipality of Port Hope maintains and operates five active cemeteries for burials, including Providence Bible Christian, St. John's Anglican, Knoxville Presbyterian, Welcome, and Union cemeteries. All municipal cemeteries are open to the public from 8:00 a.m. until dusk, daily.
You can purchase the rights to lots, plots, and niches that best suit your family's needs. Our knowledgeable and compassionate staff can help you throughout the planning process and answer any questions you may have.
The Municipal Cemetery Office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Visitors are often advised to make an appointment to meet with the Supervisor, Cemeteries by calling 905-885-5459 or email.
