Parks, playgrounds, and trails open on the first Monday of May, weather permitting, and close on the first Monday of October. Any use prior to the opening date will be at your own risk.
The marina public washroom facilities at East Beach are available seasonally from May until October.
East Beach is located at Mill Street South and Madison Street, on the shore of Lake Ontario. A sandy bottom for swimming, accessible play structure, picnic table, and a short walk to Downtown Port Hope. Access to the Waterfront Trail is available from East Beach.
